Although the weather was damp and cloudy majority of the weekend, the rain Gods finally blessed Colorado with much need precipitation. Even though the rain was unexpected it did not discourage people from attending the festival. The family and pet-friendly atmosphere was saturated with a diverse crowd. Artists from all over the world displayed their latest artwork, or what some would call a labor of love.
And of course it was free to look at the art, but if you gazed for too long the artists assumed that you were going to buy their moderate/overpriced artwork. In addition to the artwork there were fun activities like cooking and painting courses. Due to the great turn-out we can only imagine how great next year’s art festival will be.
