USA Pro Challenge Finish Fest
The USA Pro Challenge Finish Festival held today, Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at the Civic Center Park in downtown Denver was a great event for the entire family. Watching the racers ride down 17th Street with spectators lined along the sidewalks. There was a still quiet in the air down 16th Street due to the peaceful silence of the sound of no traffic, one would never guess the event of the finish line of the race taking place just a couple blocks over.
At the Civic Center Park, the atmosphere was filled with positive energy from the pro-cyclists enthusiasts. Even non-cyclists enthusiasts still swang to the swingin’ melodies of the after race concert, performed by the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies where concert goers swing danced, while children enjoyed games like “giant jinga”, “giant connect-four”, a bicycle corral, and even games made out of bicycle wheels like “wheel toss” and a giant bicycle wheel collide-scope. It was a positive event that was an exciting place for the whole family. There is no better place for the USA Pro Challenge to finish its second year than Denver.
